Where do we go from here?

The Manhattan Declaration will either end up being one of those turning point documents that alter the course of a nation's history, or end up in the long list of "Things the People Who Signed Them Thought Mattered, But the Nation Yawned."

So, naturally, the question comes: what next?

If the people and institutions that matter take note of this little cry of Christian rebellion (or, in WFB's famous phrase, "standing athwart history shouting stop"), then the Body of Christ is in for an interesting ride a lot sooner than might otherwise have occurred. If, on the other hand, we cannot get enough people to make a real ruckus and attract attention, then this may go gently in the night along with a lot of other well intentioned plans. But I have the feeling that the signatories will find this surfacing again in their records further down history's sliding slope, no matter the initial response.
