The first: Bob Rice, Catholic musician and professor of catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville, has written a novel called Between the Savior and the Sea. The first seven chapters can be read here.
The second: The Rock and the Rabbi
, performed by a troupe of musicians and vocal performers in a combination of spoken word and song, does a marvelous job of telling the story of the Gospels through Peter's eyes. The CD is extraordinary, the YouTube videos, not so much. Do not judge the performance by them.Coolness abounding in both places.
